TUITION

Nick was taught by renowned London-based tutors Stefan Redtenbacher, Paul Geary and Paul Francis.  He has over 15 years experience performing Funk, Acid Jazz, Rock, Pop and Blues.  He's showcased with named artistes including Carleen Andersen, Terri Lynne Carrington, Bob Malach, Ace and Mark Rich.

A graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music and the Liverpossl Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA).  His qualifications include: Higher Diploma in Music, Certificate in Music and ABSRM Grade 5 Theory.  Nick is also a qualified teacher with a PG Certificate in Education.

SESSION WORK

Nick's style is 'in your pocket' groove playing with a rhythmic ghost note vibe and some tasty improvised parts thrown in. Players who have influenced him include: Rocco Prestia, James Jamerson, Billy Sheehan, Sting, Jaco Pastorius, Paul McCartney, Geddy Lee, Michael Anthony.....the list goes on.

He's always up for a jam with likeminded funksters or to just talk bass....
